Travelled to Barcelona 10th September 2009 with my friend Kristian “Obbe” to play side events in European Poker Tournament (EPT).

When we arrived to Barcelona, Bjorne (Betsafe employee) took us to a hovel that was really awful. We skipped it and took other hotel called Vincci Condal Mar instead.

Was staked by Obbe, unluckily i went out early in the 500€ tournament by a woman which couldn’t fold her hand AJ vs AQ. I also went out in 1000€ tournament by same woman.

I remembered that i bluffed out Humberto Brenes once, and showed off my cards, he wasn’t happy. Next time when i tried to bluff again, he called me all way down with crap cards and fired off a smug smile.

In EPT we saw some celebrities like Phil Ivey when he was getting a calf massage and got a lot of dollar bundles at the floor, Bengt Sonnert, William Thorson.

When we both went out from tournaments, it was heavy rain outside. We were looking after a taxi, nearly all taxis was busy. At least we found one and any minute after this, Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot came with two girls and was soaking wet and want to buy us out from our taxi for xxx euros. We told him to go to hell.

After a couple of days, we checked in Hotel Hesperia Presidente instead, since it was more close to the Casino. WiFi was also available in every room, after EPT tournaments we were in our rooms and playing some online poker. I could remember that i lose one of my biggest pot in my whole life against Dennis Bejedal (hallohey) ~ $3500 pot.

Had two pairs at flop (T8), he went allin with (T9) only one pair but with higher kicker and hit the second pair in river. Some years after that i talked with Dennis and he told me that he was really drunk that time and had an insane rush.
